I designed and illustrated a series of wrap-around murals for the montrose power boxes at the Morningside train station in Auckland, New Zealand. The initiative is to deter the boxes from being graffitied by covering them in a decal that can be easily cleaned or replaced. The wrap had to also work around the side fixtures on each unit as well as containing simple messages. I designed each New Zealand themed graphic panel to interact in a quirky way with simple words and messages promoting safety around trains as well as adding interest to an otherwise dull object.
