Kauri diggers digging for Kauri gum. Kauri gum was once considered more valuable than gold.
I designed these laser cut panel graphics for Kaipara council based on the two directions... Historical and present for Dargaville township, and was directed in terms of subject matter and direction that they wanted to follow so I designed and illustrated these panels to reflect that. The panels were designed to fit around existing framework and at night these panels would be illuminated with lighting.
